Knoxville Municipal Golf Course

This was my first time to play here but I will be back again. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the course. The layout of the course was nice as you don't feel crowded while playing. The course could use a some love given to the tee boxes as they are a bit rough. The greens are very nice. Just a few bare spots around the course. All in all for a municipal course it is good. Go and give it a try.

This is a well run municipal golf course. The greens are in good condition. Superintendent is working hard to stay ahead of this season’s heat. I will come back often and know the staff will greet me in a friendly and respectful manner.

This is a course I really enjoy playing and one I would definitely recommend to other golfers. It has a great balance of being challenging enough to keep you focused, but still playable enough that the round stays fun and relaxing. It is not one of those courses that feels overly long or punishing just for the sake of being difficult, which makes it a great fit for my style of play. The layout keeps things interesting, the course is enjoyable to walk, and it has a comfortable feel that makes you want to come back. You can also tell the current management is putting real effort into improving the course and making it better for the people who play there. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with, and I really appreciate that they take the time to know people by name instead of treating everyone like just another tee time. The membership options are affordable, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the overall experience has been consistently positive. It is a well-run course with good people and a lot of potential, and I always enjoy my time there.

Super fun and relaxing course, would love to give it 5 starts, if it wasn’t for Lee. Lee, the old dude who works the counter acts like this is Augusta, it’s not. It is a public golf course and everyone is here to have a good time, except Lee. I have even talked with other employees of Knoxville municipal who have shared their disapproval of Lee and his attitude with customers on a daily basis. Lee’s attitude toward me and my group has ruined our experience at the course multiple times hence the one star review. Every other employee at this course has been absolutely amazing, except Lee.
